A humble request: I would be very grateful indeed if our posesssions, cars and bicycles in particular (but by no means limited to those) could be spared from being run into, stolen, or vandalised. I think we had our fair share for quite some while to come, and kindly request that you switch on your brain before leaving the house, or stay safely within the confines of your stratjacket:
Within the past 8 months, we had each of our two cars run into twice (one each by runaway drivers, thereby leaving the police to shrug shoulders and me to pay insurrance excess and lose my no-claims bonus on both policies), a wing-mirror kicked off, and a bicycle stolen.
It’s enough now. Go and throw yourself off the cliff.
