This Week I’ve Been Mostly Eating..

squirrelHill …nice-to-be-back-home food:

Braised lamb shanks on roasted winter vegetables, with saffron rice,

Pasta Siciliana (twice, due to leftovers, as half of the originally planned party had to decline the invitation on the short notice),

A nice curry at a friend’s house,

And way too much American restaurant food. Don’t get me wrong on that, I don’t eat grub when out there, so the meals I eat tend to be very nice, and the places where I dine are all-right. But, it’s just nowhere close to making my own. My own food tends to be less fanciful, and more flavoursome.
