Who would have thought that eating 7 courses of food would not necessitate in fasting for several days afterwards?? As a privileged guest, I spent nearly 12 hours eating and drinking with W7, The Wife and Other Esteemed Guest. One is always fed and watered well at W7 dinners but Christmas day was superb – if I were to attribute a score, it would be a 9.9/10 (0.1 deducted for slightly over-salted soup – gives W7 something to aim for next year!). I especially enjoyed the Christmas Carbonara and would happily eaten several more helpings if there weren’t more courses to follow. This was my first Christmas at W7 and I hope that I will be invited back for future festivities.
