This week, I’ve been mostly eating this:
A Thai-style chicken and noodle soup (always easy to make, always very rewarding),
Rabbit in mustard sauce, with green beans and prunes (which I mentioned already),
And all the food that I prepared for a Lent Lunch, inviting the congregation and choir of St. Matthew’s Church, Ealing, for the benefit of Groundwork St Matthews (caring for the church gardens) and Groundwork West London (caring for society at large):
An oxtail soup with tiny star-shaped noodles, a vegetarian German-style vegetable soup with optional pork sausage, a Pissaladiere (a French onion tarte) and a Quiche Lorraine, lots of freshly made bread, a pretty good Chicken Liver Pate, and a lovely Apple Tarte.
